BJ's Corner

Sadly we lost my Dartmoor Pony ‘BJ’ on 8th November 2005, aged 5. We all miss him lots and so have dedicated this page to him.

I bought BJ from Ashford Market in September 2001; he was lot 11 and did not sell. I enquired about him after and bought him for the princely sum of £30! He was registered and was from the Sherberton Stud, Devon.

In his memory I have planted a ‘Winter Gem’ apple tree and will also sponsor a class at the MoatView Riding Club Open Show, where the ‘Sherberton Black Jo “BJ” Memorial Cup’ will be presented each year to the Pony Champion. Each year’s winners shall be posted onto this page.
